David Rowe was honored as Southside High School’s nominee to the Beaufort County Board of Education for the character trait of self-discipline. 

Other students nominated for this character trait, part of the Beaufort County Schools’ character education program, included Atyana Starkie, Andrelique Jones, Na’Jah Frazier, Destinee Wright, Sara Brame, Mallory Cox, Josh Ringlein, David Rowe, Mark Knickerbocker, Cameron Green, Shanelle Virgil, Brian Hyman, Sara Hudson, Kyle White, Jasmine Griffin, Trace Woolard, Marcrissa Carswell, Tabitha Pollard, and Jesse Powers.

All nominees were honored at a reception at Southside on May 28. Parents and close friends were invited to attend.
